I'm not a doctor, but I thought autopsy reports were supposed to be precise and objective. Could there be some aspects that are ambiguous and subject to bias and interpretation?

Autopsy reports can have quite a bit of ambiguity. Often times the cause of death cannot be determined. But the original report raised red flags. There should never have been a line about “intoxicants” until toxicology reports were in. That can take weeks.
