So I totally think they are right to close again, but do we definitively know that the families affected caught the virus there? They could have caught it elsewhere, not at the church specifically- or did I miss something?
Until we have robust contact tracing we can never know for sure. About any of it. But from a public health standpoint, gatherings of many people in small spaces for prolonged time periods is the most efficient way to spread the virus. There have been numerous similar incidences.

So in your opinion should people not be going in to restaurants, salons, etc, even those operating under social distancing guidelines?

Depends on your tolerance for risk. Any indoor activity for a prolonged period of time has some risk. So for example, I won’t go to restaurants, bars, rallies, concerts, etc because they are not worth the risk to me. I will go get my hair done once every six weeks. That’s it.
