Patients, please I beg you, don’t mention politics during our 10-15 minute appointment. It makes things feel weird and gross, regardless of your political views. We have 2 minutes of small talk, just tell me about the yard work you have planned this weekend & we’ll call it a day

It sure does, that doesn’t mean I want to discuss what is or isn’t “fake news” during a 15 minute appointment when we need to discuss glaucoma or cataract surgery
