The tik tok involving a call about a patient's death/poor outcome & then th search for malpractice attorney/jail doesnt inspire much confidence in non-defensive medicine or advance a culture of acknowledge/apologize, which we know reduces legal exposure when done right.

My students & I discussed him and others last week. One issue is there is humor in medicine that is dark, irreverant, edgy but understandable if between docs in private. Not sure the world needs more silly medutainment at a time when we need confidence in medicine.

We definitely need dark humor rn. The problematic ones are those that mock and belittle patients.
