Please for the love of all things honest and real in the world find me a single example of someone advocating for universal mask usage that is telling folks not to use them properly or just for everyone to go out there and go about their business, just with masks on.
That’s not what I said at all. I’m saying that my thread was an extension of general information to specific information on how to do it properly. I’m sure others have said the same. But judging from the fact that the thread got 32k retweets, a lot of people wanted to hear it.

I have been working for weeks with old folks about the distinction between a want and a need. Today one of them went out during the peak of a pandemic because they were low on their favorite coffee. You folks don't understand people. They are going to be irresponsible anyway.

And, they have coffee, I bought other coffee for them a week ago just not their 'favorite' coffee. But, at least they wore a mask, some gloves, and disinfected, etc. You guys think people listen when you say ONLY essential. I know elderly doctors going to stores unecessarily.
