If they are being treated in the nursing home, why? That means their cases are not severe enough to warrant this drug.
Who at the nursing home is qualified to perform monitoring in elderly patients, including EKGs to watch for rhythm abnormalities?

I have MAJOR questions about informed consent. I was a nurse for 10 years. Most of that 10 years as med surg, SNF or hospice with some urology on the side. I'm familiar with geriatric patients in nursing homes. I call bullshit.

This is what, a clinical trial w/no controls whatsoever? Who is administering the "clinical trial?" Were the caretaker's families agreeable to this before anyone knew the extent of each patient's diagnosis & severity? This isn't science, this is an experiment on "live" patients.
