Thanks. I wish people in my rural county took things seriously. It saddens me to see people still organizing play dates and having group chats with their friends outside the grocery store. Soon reality is going to hit like a truck. Only a couple cases in my county...for now.
I’ve been so frustrated by the number of people I see out at the hardware store and such. There’s no home improvement emergency!

My own opinion on this: People have more time at home and therefore are taking the opportunity to do home improvement projects. I think this is because for many they haven't experienced the impact of the pandemic in terms of loss of a life and so don't appreciate the danger.

Some people’s mental health depends on keeping busy. We only have curb side pickup or delivery (left in driveway) no in-store browsing.

Actually... Plumbing issue in our only bathroom meant letting strangers in to repair or DIY. Fortunately, most supplies are available online, if you can wait a day. We will have emergencies that will need to be resolved. We can only do our best. Clearly, some need to do better.
