Literally went to go buy a new reusable mask (puppy ate the one in the photo) around december/january and so many were already sold out at that point. =/

Like homemade sanitizer, I think there are good and bad homemade masks. Examples: a mask pocket to insert HEPA grade vacuum bag material; a layer of bonded (not woven) cloth, with similar protection and can be washed. Breath ability and fit (seal) are key. Use once and wash.

Sewing clubs around the country are making and donating similar masks to local hospitals, 20 masks per user. Some users place the cloth mask over their N95/surgical mask to extend its life. 100% effective? No. A reasonably effective Plan C.
