This tweet from the President is false. I cannot believe we are at a place where we have to debunk the President regularly to save lives— The Texas State Board of Pharmacy had an emergency meeting March 20 at 4pm to issue orders. The emergency order reads as follows:https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1241367239900778501 …

The guide lines you posted are run of the mill, standard ones for this medicine and many others. Nothing you shared demonstrates the President’s message is false. You are trying to insert yourself into the limelight in the worst possible way during the worst possible time. Sad.

Exactly... What the board posted doesnt contradict what the President said at all. Just dispensing guidelines to keep it from being over-utilized. These people that try to make EVERYTHING a political angle make me sick.

You're arguing the efficacy of drugs with a doctor. Do you know how ridiculous that makes you look?

Hey, charlatans come with all sorts of degrees. But based on exactly what she shared her initial contention remains and unsupported and frankly, a little bullshitty.

His tweet remains false. This combo does not have a great chance of becoming reality. This crisis is political because political decisions, not decisions made based on data and science, were used. You can read more about the problems with his tweet here:https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1241580155069435905.html …

And your scientific evidence for this claim is? Which paper are you citing? Which study has come out for you to unequivocally say that “no chance” the combination becomes a reality—whatever that’s supposed to mean?

I never said no chance and I cited several references in the thread I linked as to why the information that the president tweeted is dangerous, unreliable, and misleading. If you read those and still have questions, I’d suggest going to medical school then getting back to me.

Being an MD doesn’t give you an exalted rank from which to look down on people. One doesn’t need a medical degree to spot a political grift that is at once toxic and in bad taste during such times. History is full of doctors who turned out to be monstrous. Need a history lesson?
