Well....I suppose in round about ways, all policy positions can affect patient health.... Thus probably making it even more important to know all your policy positions

The unifying theme to my policy positions is to center the underserved, underrepresented, and the vulnerable.

Everyone says that....But fair enough... Let's get specific then... What are your suggestions to deal with border security and illegal immigration?? Or dealing with The Russian invasion of Ukraine??

Having recently been a volunteer in Laredo at a clinic and shelter for asylum seekers from Central America, having seen and heard the stories of the horrific conditions that these people are fleeing, and having reviewed the data that shows that:

1) asylum seekers virtually always show up for their asylum hearings, 2) asylum seekers/refugees/and undocumented immigrants add to our economy and are a net plus economically, we should be letting asylum seekers and refugees in, and creating a path to citizenship

for undocumented immigrants already in the country. There is currently no path available to those who are already here. We can decrease the flow of immigrants by increasing humanitarian aid and economic support to Central American countries and by requiring more
