I would think that public policy that benefits our patients would transcend party.

for undocumented immigrants already in the country. There is currently no path available to those who are already here. We can decrease the flow of immigrants by increasing humanitarian aid and economic support to Central American countries and by requiring more
stringent requirements and penalties to employers who hire undocumented immigrants. But the reality is that we can and should allow a larger number of immigrants in. They are a net positive for our economy and as contributors to our workforce, they help shore up Social Security.

Penalties would be fine. Along with penalizing those using false info and immediate deportation. Imo, immigrant numbers should be significantly curtailed.
