I’ve been cautious here on #medtwitter about capital P Politics.
But there is just too much at stake. Our disastrous healthcare system. The climate crisis. Profound income inequality. And so much more. Feels about time to be more outspoken and say:

It is a moral and ethical imperative for doctors to speak up about public policy that harms our patients and communities. It’s one reason why I’m running for Congress: I cannot remain silent and I’m ready to do the work.
