Do you support #MedicareForAll?

I’ve been supporting Universal Healthcare with a Single Payer system since 2009, lobbied at the Texas State Legislature in support of the Healthy Texas Act, a SP system for Texas during the most recent session. In short: I’ve been working on this issue for more than a decade.

I’ll answer publicly: I see this problem first hand in my practice regularly. It is shameful that we haven’t invested in solving this. First step: legalize marijuana. No one should need permission to use a safe substance. Fix our mental healthcare system. Invest in the VA and

empower that system to study and identify better methods of treating pain and other service related issues.
