Very! Total healthcare costs are huge for all. Just to have insurance and never see a doctor for 1 person is $5000 a year through the ACA. If you go to doctors there are co-pays and co-insurance and the cost of prescriptions, etc.

I disagree. People make use of the healthcare system differently. On average the population's costs may go down, but individual costs will vary. i.e If I never go to the doctor, I will only see a tax increase.
@ewarren is obfiscating that consequence of her plan. 1/2 -
2/2. However, I don't necessarily disagree with Medicare for All concept, b/c it might change individual behavior to make healthier choices. Still it's important to talk about details & how the plan would work. "Is America ready for so much change?" is also a reasonable Question.

Insurance is a premium we pay to be covered IF we get sick. Ideally most people aspire to be not sick most days. I would rather my taxes be down take home more money and have more for my daily expenses!

@ewarren plans gives no consideration for someone who leads a healthy lifestyle to have a choice. It inherently assumes that majority of America is really sick. Issue with healthcare is cost. No one has come up with a plan to attack the high cost of healthcare. - Show replies
