      USPSTF Draft Guidelines: screen all adults for HCV.       Ins usually follows USPSTF recs - that’s a huge component in why this is so important. Currently insurance just covers PCPs screening baby boomers. We tried to get this changed under legislation a few years ago when we published our “CASH Colonoscopy & Screen Hep C” study.

      So, it’s not approved recommendation yet- it is proposed. So, insurance won’t cover yet unless high risk, baby boomer, et al. Hopefully will be approved for 2020 👍.
