Yes. Because the GOP was trying to let insurers stop covering it for people on their plan. Needs to be both. Insurance coverage for those with it, cheap, accessible OTC for those without.

OTC is OTC. If I want some cough medicine, I don't need a doctors prescription. Whether my insurance covers it or not is different. If it's over the counter, it will be cheap.

That’s very elitist of you to say. You can’t possibly know the financial circumstances of every woman who needs this medication. Unlike coughs and colds, which will go away without treatment, the need for birth control is an ongoing expense that won’t just resolve on it’s own.
