Medicare payments are the same as what we get when we have a cash pay patient who pays out of pocket. So we’d be able to thrive with SP just like we would with cash pay patients. 1/2
Cutting out the middlemen who spend hours chasing payments would save us massive amounts of money. Payroll is our biggest expense. 2/2

I also see that as the biggest value of M4A. It greatly streamlines the payment process. Everyone has thre same CO-pay (I think co-pays are needed to manage abuse of the system), one source of payments etc. Current system is riddled with ineffectiveness

My concern mostly is that payments to hospitals, surgeons, Pharma (as much as I hate it) may not be enough to continue with the innovations we get in the US. I believe the US medical spending somewhat subsidized medical research for the rest of the world. For better and worse
