We ask that you please differentiate between Texas, Texans and Texas GOP leadership pursuing things most Texans don't want for the state or country. The latter is responsible for this nonsense. Thank you.
I’m going to push back a bit here. Texans have allowed this by not participating in the electoral process and by ceding their autonomy to zealots. At the hearing for this bill, >400 people showed up in support; only 56 showed up against. “Texans” are going to have to do better.

Fair point. I, for one, didn't even know about the bill until recently. Must follow legislative process more closely. Just sayin that I don't think this bill represents the desires of most Texans. Further, I don't think protesting has much impact anymore. Look at federal level
