Best insurance I’ve ever had. If only it covered hearing, vision, & dental, it would be heaven even with the copays.

:::::raising hand:::: 5 months and 6 days until Medicare for me. Fortunately I'm not ill, but I'm looking forward to the day I can see a doctor without having to meet a $6000 deductible before anything is covered.

Add me to that list. Since Donnie has pretty much gutted the ACA, I probably won't have any insurance next year, Not a good plan for a gut 64 to not have insurance. I can't afford to pay 33% of my income for health insurance.

I never though turning 65 would make me so happy!

Imagine a society that doesn't structurally integrate barriers to essential healthcare. Imagine all the benefits and rewards. It's a real instance of a rising tide raising all ships. Cost arguments are flawed and morally irrelevant.

My dad waited. It was too late. He had artery blockage. He had triple bypass less than three months after getting Medicare. He died 10 days later. I miss him every day. My kids were 10 and 8. They missed out on a great man. They will only have faint memories of him.

I don’t understand why you have to go through so much red tape and “sign up” if you are a citizen and are 65. Social security knows how old you are, why isn’t it automatic?
