    These statistics are horrific. Absolutely shameful.

    The part on Covid & TX jails is jaw-dropping: - 80% of people who died of Covid in jail were NOT CONVICTED OF A CRIME - 58% of people who died in prison from Covid-19 were eligible for parole. - The number of deaths reported is likely an undercount READ IT AGAIN

    I’ve seen discussions that the manufacturing and distribution phases were directed to be ramped up in advance to shorten these phases. And I’m sure President-elect Biden will use his executive powers to speed this up. 5/6
