    The money belongs to the citizen/voter taxpayers (who are not 1:1 parents of current school aged children) who have, over time, opted to support public institutions that serve those children & their communities more broadly.This is just ignorant, soundbite garbage!

    I’ll start with I’m the youngest group of Gen X. Next, I’m also a woman working on her 2nd PhD. I love learning 🤷‍♀️. I’m not into microwaved food. Gross. What’s Bumble, based on the title, I’m guessing I’m not into anything that’s defined as awkward. I do like cats and my husband!

  4. Rep Fine has been involved in harassment and threats to myself & my family. Currently on national TV tours bragging about sponsoring the bill against Disney. Threatening a city's funding and Special Olympics because of my involvement in a fundraiser.

    Congratulations to School Board vice-chair Tina Certain, who has been nominated president-elect of the Florida School Boards Association. She currently serves as FSBA's treasurer. If her selection is confirmed in June, she will become president in June of 2023.

    The recently fired superintendent said scholarships were given to wealthy families, a former superintendent on a 6-figure salary, out-of-county families, and alleged some internal investigators were also recipients. (I worked late last night.)

    Today, the FL House Ed Cmte advanced a bill () that would increase the number of state mandated standardized assessments in elementary school from the current 7 (3 Math, 3 ELA, 1 Science) to 37 assessments (3 Math and 3 ELA PER YEAR from KINDERGARTEN to 5th and 1 Science)

    14 ACPS teams are invited to the VEX Robotics World Championships in May. Teams from Westwood, Wiles, Glen Springs and Foster secured their spots through a state tournament. Teams from Wiles, Westwood, Bishop and Lincoln qualified from their robot’s skills scores this season.
