Very well written. Poignant. Not to mention that I feel that many many people don't have [meaningful] relationships until later in life. Of course there are a bunch of people who meet someone young, but the older I get, the more I see the age spread of "starting companionship"

Looking at my friend circles, I'd say it's about 50:50. <50% met their now still partner before 25yo (still together after 15+ years), 30% haven't met them (yet), 20% met someone, it didn't work out and they're in a new life partnership
