    Rachael and I just spent about two hours rescuing live sand dollars from the beach, and we saw several people collecting them while they were still alive. You can tell when they’re dead based on color and the presence of little legs on the bottom. There’s no need to kill them. 🐚

    How sad that we need to comment that ppl didn’t run away from . Inclusion is still just a word not a reality in 2018 (but yep good to note in this context - gl )

    I was impressed that unlike when saw disabled people she didn't run the other way, she sat and talked to us.

    When people don't realize they're another wave of colonialism.

    People in the far north rely on Seal and Whale. They cannot grow vegetables and have local veganism be the primary source of nutrition. There are communities still who completely rely on hunting, and have no access to "fresh organic whole foods" other than Seal, Fish, Whale etc
