My husband says that the UK have bought 600 of these aircraft, apparently approximately every third landing they have to change the tires because they are destroyed by the hot air from the engines, the tires are also very expensive.

We've got up to 35 of them , depending on delivery , and a commitment to 138. At between $94 - $122 million each , its a costly outlay on something with a reported 800+ deficiencies , 13 must fix problems, and maintenance issues.

Unfortunately not well said. It'd riddled with inaccuracies and falsely presented information. NHS requires serious attention, but throwing defence under the bus with false and misrepresented information is not how to do it.
