I have given DoorDash plenty of chances. They just messed up our order again, for the third time. Last time we ordered, no one picked up our food to deliver it. It just sat there. No reimbursement this time either. Never again.

That was on the restaurant not the driver. Restaurants get backed up. If your driver actually waited that hour they most likely did not get paid extra. I got one will not wait because usually people will not tip extra for us waiting.
