It is hilarious how many people who listen to everything Jim Rogers says as gospel think that farmers will be the richest people & all driving Ferraris. He's been repeating this nonsense for 20 years. I see food shortages, rationing & price controls instead of billionaire farmers

Costs for farmers are rising rapidly and governments will no doubt have bad policies to handle this and make things even worse w shortages or rationing or price controls.

When you say farmer, could you distinguish between the size of players. There are the Bill Gates and hedge fund big, Sen Grassley big and the smaller players. I will bet the big players cash in big with government payouts while the small players are eaten

There's no shortage of manure human or animal near farms....we have new beneficial bacteria like mycorrhizae and compost teas. We are fine without chemical fertilizer.
