I believe a veteran on a NFL team told Kaepernick to take a knee. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it means that you're respecting a fallen soldier on the battlefield.

My question is what has changed because of it? This is not the NFL's problem to deal with. The killing of unarmed Black men is a horrible thing, but is truly a low priority issue facing black communities. How about we start with addressing the broken family structure.

Those are personal choices that both men and women in our community have to come to grips with. However, my tax dollars should not go to train individuals to murder people that look like me under the guise of having a badge.

I will respectfully disagree. I don’t disagree with the cause they protest, just the venue they choose to protest. We get bombarded with politics and social justice enough. Can’t I just enjoy a sporting event without all the other intrusions.

I didn't share his opinion..... then I watched this video. Powerful, well thought out answer, rooted in historical facts. This definitely made me look at this issue from a different viewpoint. Thank you for sharing.
