I wrote about the NFL’s decision to play “Lift Every Voice and Sing” and steps the league needs to take moving forward. the NFL must implement radical changes to honor its commitment to combat systemic racism

  4. In April Trump incited people to “LIBERATE MICHIGAN!” and months later a group of domestic terrorists are charged in a violent plot to kidnap Michigan’s Governor and overthrow that state’s government ... and y’all are really calling these people a “militia” lol

There should be no other story tonight than Mike Pence refusing to commit to a peaceful transition. That’s it. That’s the terrifying news.

When Eddie Van Halen was asked to do the solo on “Beat It” from Thriller he didn’t want to be credited or paid because it would make everything too complicated. He just asked for a case of beer and for MJ to give him dance lessons.

This country is so accustomed to its monstrous health care system that when a 2-year-old child with a genetic condition needs to rely on a high school robotics team to meet his basic health care needs the media thinks its a feel-good story, not a dystopian nightmare.

Please stop calling undocumented people who pay taxes “freeloaders”. A freeloader is a trust-fund billionaire who pays $0 in federal income taxes for 10 out of 15 years and then receives top-notch government-funded health care when he gets sick.

I believe every person in America is entitled to the same health care as the President of the United States—with no co-pays, no deductibles and no out-of-pocket expenses. If government-funded health care is good enough for Trump, it is good enough for all of us as a human right.

Unbelievable. Millions falling into poverty, millions on the edge of eviction, millions going hungry, millions losing their healthcare & this megalomaniac dime store dictator puts his knee of the neck of a nation. We need more than an election; we need a revolution.

This is a fine rule to implement but has largely not existed for people of color and other minorities, women, journalists, etc., who for years have complained about such harassment to no avail. You’ve shown you could’ve done it all along, so please apply same standard to others.

Yesterday as Trump refused to condemn far-right violence, the FBI quietly issued a warning about the threat of far-right extremists, per intel report leaked to me. It identifies the period between presidential election and inauguration as a "flashpoint"

I know “radical” was thrown around a lot last night. Fighting for a new society where Black people and our comrades thrive *is radical* in a country built on genocide, theft, and slavery. That’s a good thing. I hope more of us become radical because that’s what it’s going to take

That was a scary and crazy ordeal. I knew when the hospital was more concerned with media requests than getting and his girlfriend seen by a doctor who worked in a burn unit, we had a problem!
