Many health insurers regard epilepsy, a disorder causing unpredictable seizures, as a pre-existing condition. It affects at least 3.4 million Americans, or 1 in 26 people in the country. If the GOP repeals the ACA, these people could lose their health care.

I think it's more greed than hate. If people actually use insurance, the companies have fewer profits for their shareholders because they have to pay the various medical expenses. I have never understood why health insurance companies are for profit.
