I was honored to join , , and for a Day of Service honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at Urban Farmacy. We prepared for the cold weather and covered the crops which help feed local seniors.

Finally a decision that respects the people’s will and court’s logic. We could have saved so many taxpayer dollars and city resources had they done so from the very beginning. The saga isn’t over but at least we can close this chapter.

Being the only candidate for mayor to qualify for the ballot by petition is a big deal. It shows two things: 1) Strong grassroots organizing and community support, and 2) A candidate who isn’t trying to buy their way into office, but who will work for the people of Jacksonville.
