Because he wants to open the plant, incl. working the line himself? When every other auto plant in the US is either already open or reopening, in a county where even nail salons are open, and according to federal and CA regs should never have had to shut down in the first place?

he's not. I'm speaking from Portugal. We're neighbors with Spain. If you look at our numbers and compare them with the Spanish numbers you'll see a huge difference (% wise obviously, because Spain has a bigger population). The first Covid case in Portugal came 2 weeks after 1-?

the first Covid case in Spain, and both countries entered lockdown at around the same time. Spain is fucked, to say the least. Quick thinking and social distancing work. You don't get a choice to wear a mask or stay at home when lives are on the line. Stay home, things 2-?

He said quarantine is dumb. Social Distancing and quarantine are intertwined. Also, I don't know which Asian Countries you're referring to. China got fucked, so did Japan, Singapore just got another outbreak, Indonesia is fucked, so is India. I could go on....

False social distancing and quarantine aren’t intertwined. Both can be separate I don’t know what logic you’re using. Japan did not get “fucked”, what are you talking about? Singapore has also had very low deaths even with a second wave. Taiwan seems to be handling the best.

Taiwan only handled their cases the best as they were (like many Asian countries) already prepared for something like this. Masks everywhere, people know priorities, apps to know if you were close to someone who was infected. That’s why they don’t need quarantine. We do.
