Re-watching some Rickles clips online brought me to this Twitter. There was no one so funny for such a long time as Don Rickles. He makes me shake my head in wonder all the time. Thank you for keeping this going; us younger generations will hold him as the gold standard too!

I was the producer for Regis and Kathie Lee when Regis and Don did an intimate interview in Oak Room @ the Plaza in NYC in 199? I remember meeting his wife also upstairs in a hotel room and most remember how very lovely he was to his wife. Is that you? Lovely, lovely man.

I remember that episode! Great TV, always loved Regis & Don together+ Live kept us informed about celebs of every era in a cool way back then, show hasn’t been the same for me since Regis left
