Ha! Brings to mind the comments attributed to former editor of The Sun, Kelvin "McFrenzy" MacKenzie, when he fired the paper's astrologer: "As you will no doubt be aware...."

Well that's new. A call from an astrology/psychic telemarketer. He kept asking my name to tell me my future. I told him if he was psychic, he'd already know that, and also that a brief consultation with the stars could tell him we were on the do-not-call list.

I'm probably repeating myself, but I think we need a more systematic and rigorous public airing of these issues, but at arm's length from the political arena.

I agree, which is where the question of public engagement, information, leadership, and dialogue come in. If Climate Change is a genuine - and possibly catastrophic - threat, it's time to get that on the table - *really* on the table. If not, it's time to get *that* on the table.

Just fyi, here's where PM was today. We weren't allowed to say in advance where he was headed (for security reasons.)

My kids and your kids will live in a more unstable economy, on a more dangerous planet, if we don't do more to fight climate change. Putting the brakes on climate action will add costs and risk for them. Nothing more important than that.

(Premier) Bob Rae and Rachel Notley: My column compares these 2 progressives: both won unexpectedly then governed in difficult circumstances, but their stories are very different. So, how will Notley’s end?
