Yesterday I warned Biden that when I am Governor I won’t allow the federal government to deploy the Texas National Guard into overseas combat duty without a congressional declaration of war.
We need leaders who respect our troops, follow our Constitution, and put America First.

This is something really bold coming-in. National Guards are respected heroes and deployment of them unnecessarily means hurting the economies and welfare of people unnecessarily.
