My family has called North Carolina home for 6 generations. I was raised working the tobacco fields and often going to church twice on Sundays.
Now, I’m running for Congress to go show Washington that our rural communities refuse to be left behind.

Whether in uniform in the United States Air Force, teaching in the classroom, or preaching in the pulpit, everything I’ve done is to give back to the community that raised me. As the Mayor of Snow Hill and a State Senator, I’ve gone to bat for eastern NC.

But our rural communities are still hurting. While politicians in D.C. play partisan games, our communities still don’t have high-speed internet. Health insurance and medication are still too expensive. And apprenticeships and a college education are still out of reach for many.

I’m proud that my campaign has already been endorsed by over 100 elected officials, pastors, and community leaders across our state. If you’re all in, I’d be honored to add your name to that list.

The race to hold the NC-02 congressional seat for Dems will be one of the tightest in the country. If you’re ready to help us fight to keep it (and the Democratic majority), will you become a Founding Donor to our campaign?

Congratulations Don. I’m a North Carolinian and alum of NPLA as well. Best wishes on your run. Let me know how I can support.
