I could go on. It’s not about money. We have to address other issues, such as parental responsibility. Free meals is not the solution to the underlying problems. In my view, just increases dependency on the state, which is a strategic aim of

To be fair I see you are using pub prices for the beer not supermarket.

A lot of our tenants go to the pub. But yes, you have a point. Four lagers for £5. A lot of nutritious meals for kids. But it’s never just 4 in many cases, when two adults are drinking. Fags cost £13 wherever you buy them.

Proper breakfast too, not a bowlful of sugary rubbish!! Good for you! My memory of early childhood is coming down to a warm kitchen and a boiled egg!
