    I’m confused. How did we conclude that the best way to prepare kids for the future is to cluster them into a setting where they are organized by age, into grades, and forced to learn the same things, at the same time and pace, 7 hours a day, 5 days a week, for 12 + years? Huh?

    I think the plastic bag bans have more to do with general litter than CO2. They get blown by the wind and caught in trees and bushes until they eventually end up in the gutters, streams, lakes and ocean. CO2 is pretty abstract. Litter is much more concrete and immediate.

    Huh, so no more plastic bags doesn't actually help with CO2 reduction all that much 🤔 Some really interesting stats. Poses the big q: when are people going to take fewer flights? I rarely see any discussion of this. Big opp for engine manufacturers too

    I was asked recently about what word(s) to use instead of "the guys" to refer to a collection of people who are not all men. Some options (some more American, some British): 1. people 2. folks 3. lot 4. crew 5. group 6. team 7. mates 8. developers (guess the context 😉)
