  14. This delay/technical problems highlight the real need for paper backups in U.S. elections. Election security is of paramount importance. Americans need to trust their results. At least Democrats this year for the first time have paper backups for each vote in the

  17. There were about a dozen coin tosses in 2016 to decide delegates for Clinton & Sanders. But remember, these 1,678 precincts create 11,402 delegates. ONE coin flip goes into that BROADER universe, NOT the 41 to the national convention. More on that here:

  18. Politics has always been cult of personality, but you hear far less party pride on the trail, less “We are Democrats.” It’s all about the candidates & candidates don’t mention the party much either the way Obama or Clinton did, as much as Obama ran as an outsider
