"without losing any quality" is inherently impossible. Why are you trying to convert from h164 to h265?

Compressor seems to indicate a file size about half, any thoughts on this? You think there would be additional noticeable artifacts?

if HEVC is saving you 50% then either your H264 encoder sucks or your quality is ending up worse (assuming it's not just misestimating)
