Awesome, thanks you! Not sure if you would know this, but the Yeti has left and right channels, which each have '1' and '2' options. I have it set to default and it seems to be working OK, but do you know what these are for? Want to avoid adding hiss if possible.

That's for reassigning channels (e.g. you can swap left and right, or map a single input to both outputs). In most cases you should leave them at the defaults.

and at a quick google, it looks like the Yeti has a 3.5mm monitor output, so it would be usable with a dedicated recorder if you ever decided to go for one of those (though if Audio Hijack works well for you, no need to rush into gear you don't currently need)
