I enjoy Mishima a lot ^^ if you can already understand a little I would recommend warming up to with with more modern works first :)

あっ、返事してありがとうございました！ 実はその質問は仮説的です。言語学、特に歴史言語学が好きですから気になりますが、本当は近代日本語すらよくわからないので、古語も真面目に習いてみるとなんかおかしいでしょう。ｗ いつか。多分。
