7. Spend months memorizing how to write 頑張って! for when signing those square cards people use for graduations etc. 8. Everytime get halfway through the kanji before going blank and frantically scanning the card to see if anyone else has written it.

GOD THANK YOU when I visited Japan and tried reading kana and then extrapolating the kanji based on the meaning of the hanzi i felt like having an aneurysm
