I saw people already mentioning games in the replies, but I guess self studies by playing games in Japanese can be smart? At least then you'll learn the meaning of words by seeing them. For people who know, is this good or not, or does it depend on the person?

Don't worry, I don't think anything about learning languages depends on the person It's a fine option, especially with a game with lots of text Just remember that as long as there's text on screen it can't be counted as listening practise, just reading practise
