It's the difference between my parents (native Japanese) watching your videos and saying "haha what a silly gaijin-san" vs. "How does he deeply understand the suffering that is filling out Japanese government paperwork"

Whenever we watch a movie set in a certain part of Japan, my wife, who is Japanese, always comments on how these inflections shift. It's funny to me that it's a big deal to her, but I can hardly tell the difference, whereas she has trouble hearing the dif between parse & purse.

This is why I love Dogen's content. I am trying to live in Japan and speak more fluently and its hard to find videos like @Dogen Its important for me to speak Japanese correctly. どげんさんいつもありがとうございます。いい勉強になります。
