would love to see you do a segment on 国語国字問題 tbh if you haven't already. It's something I've been into reading about lately. I can find more info on the kanji reform part than I can the hentaigana elimination part of that process.

omg!! i’m tutoring a beginner and as we’re practicing hiragana, she asks “so what’s the difference with these??” and it was these sets of character. and honestly i had NEVER thought about it, and wasn’t sure if there was an answer. BUT NOW I KNOW. she’s gonna be so excited to see
