For those unsure: Leading = telling everyone there what to do - if not done right there's little chance of a heart restarting. No pressure. ST5 = this is generally someone who has been a doctor at least 7yrs after at least 5yrs uni... Only £24/hr! It's just crazy. #BMABallotReady

And often that doctor as a more junior doctor, I remember doing that as a foundation doctor, before 2016 so was on £6 an hour which the cleaners constantly teased me about as we compared pay

The medic who leads the attempt to restart your heart out of hospital, with minimal kit & staff (often unfamiliar coming together for the arrest), and no nice spacious bed/bay, is paid just £14/hr-£25/hr. By comparison, the Dr is at the good end of the scale & has more support!

I earn £18/hr as a Network Engineer and I just make sure your phone and Internet work. It's just wrong that people who make sure you work earn just £6 more.
