For those unsure:
Leading = telling everyone there what to do - if not done right there's little chance of a heart restarting. No pressure.
ST5 = this is generally someone who has been a doctor at least 7yrs after at least 5yrs uni...
Only £24/hr! It's just crazy.

And often that doctor as a more junior doctor, I remember doing that as a foundation doctor, before 2016 so was on £6 an hour which the cleaners constantly teased me about as we compared pay

i get £10 per hour to perform ECGs in A&E to diagnose heart attacks as a healthcare assistant. when i’m qualified doctor, i’ll earn £24 p/h for treating them. this cant go on! #fullpayrestoration #bmaballotready

CT1 regularly managing the acute take unsupported and on the odd occasion, responsible for fixing that fractured hip solo £14/hr

The medic who leads the attempt to restart your heart out of hospital, with minimal kit & staff (often unfamiliar coming together for the arrest), and no nice spacious bed/bay, is paid just £14/hr-£25/hr.
By comparison, the Dr is at the good end of the scale & has more support!

I earn £18/hr as a Network Engineer and I just make sure your phone and Internet work. It's just wrong that people who make sure you work earn just £6 more.
