    I just left an ER shift, and it hit me. Healthcare providers will be respected for tirelessly working to save lives, not accused of falsifying diagnoses or profiteering off a horrible pandemic. We will have a partner working with us, not against us. It already feels so good.

    Oh. I didn’t realize the unavailability of masks was the problem here. How long are we gonna “solve” problems that don’t exist instead of the real ones & pretend we’ve done something? Also this link (I always read before I share) contains nothing about the headline 🧐

    The U.S. government is on track to distribute 125 million cloth masks to states and territories by the end of November to help reopen schools, but there is still no coordinated effort by the federal government to track COVID-19 outbreaks at schools.

    Trump says the administration is working hard to locate the missing parents of separated kids. Not true. A court appointed committee of lawyers and human rights groups are looking for them. This administration has only handed over information about them under court order.

    Can’t believe the president still advocates that amidst this virus it’s a viable strategy to just open everything & hope for the best. Other nations and areas have been able to have a sustainable new normal, based on data, not wishful thinking. That’s what we need.
