Thanks for this clarification. As if GDP could be a reliable metric to evaluate the complexity and ramifications of climate change on all life, including human, on this planet.
Name a better metric
And when the oceans are 2.6% higher b/c of AGW, and flooding major cities, Lomborg and his ilk still won't come clean about it.
As @ProfSteveKeen has demonstrated, the DICE model of Nordhaus made quite ridiculous assumptions about impacts on GDP etc.https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/14747731.2020.1807856 …
"Business as usual amounts to conducting a one-time, irreversible experiment of unknown outcome with the habitability of the entire planet." What a quote! How do people not get it?
Shameful behaviour.
0’C would be best and what we should aim for, not 1.5! We have problems now at 1.2 ! 1.5C might be ok if we want lots of problems! Nothing is for sure in this world and man has not got all the answers
By 0c I assume you mean no climate change at all? As you well know that is not possible as the climate has always changed naturally over long periods of time, even before humanities industrial input.
