    Does anyone know how I can forward this to all of 's patients? 😉 My only concern is that all my patients will like better than me and I will be bored all day! (I remember I had to jump rope for 7 hours for them to get a good shot..messing w/ me!)

    My husband is American and we were recently in Orlando, FL for US Thanksgiving. We spent an afternoon at Disney during our trip. I could count on one hand the number of children I saw that day that were NOT obese. We cannot go on like this!

    We recently took MCT oil off our of list of recommended fats for this reason because people were just loading up their teas and coffees with it.

    Remember, all that is needed for ketosis from a weight loss perspective is carbohydrate restriction. If the idea is to lose weight, we are trying to find ways to get FULL off of less. So after adaption we focus on meal frequency & *added* fat restriction /end

    When patients come to me already doing keto & not seeing any weight loss... the culprit is usually added fat Cheese, cream, nuts, butter & oil These make people eat MORE of whatever they are eaten with... Once a patient is making ketones, we gently push down exogenous fat

    Bottom line: stress will make you more hungry. It will make the hormonal impact of crap food more pronounced and leads to a cycle of constant hunger. it leads a myriad of health problems My strategy: "Binge low carb & live to fight another day... " /end

    And once you eat that super rewarding hyper-palatable food in your state of insulin resistance CAUSED/WORSENED by stress, this will lead to further glycemic excursions which leads to further uncontrolled hunger.
