I am calling this year the YouTube year of hell. #youtubeyearofhell and wish @TeamYouTube to respond to this
All YouTubers are annoyed with the invalid community strikes

Google is taking action towards kodi as we have seen from the removal of "kodi" from the google auto complete. The 3rd party videos are classed as "hacking" and against community guidelines. If you choose to keep breaking the guidelines that's hardly youtubes fault.

It is not considered hacking, as it's not a Youtubers job to identify which apps have licenses for content and which are not, it's like if you review a phone you might be hacking if the information is classified, if it's public domain you as a Youtuber have the right to cover

As a content creator you're providing a gateway to Piracy. You may or may not show and films or rv shows but you are supplying information to obtain illegal content. Why should you profit from stolen content?

If you review knife's and weapons you are proving a gateway to murder? some of the apps have licenses some do not example USTV, Sky even delivered a strike for licenses content like Crackle. CNN profits from disasters it's called freedom of expression. What is wrong with that?

crackle may have a license for their content but You do not have authorisation to broadcast that content on youtube. Freedom of speech is fine but facilitating access to piracy is not. You cant blame youtube as they need to keep advertisers happy.

So was I.but I seen what YouTube was doing to everyone and made a decision to delete every single Kodi video to avoid loosing my channel. Best decision I've made tbh

everyone debating this but it's very clear what you need to do to keep ur channel in the long run, many of us changed content when YouTube changed their content guidelines, u can keep telling yourselves it's legal etc, but earning from copyright content is not legal in the USA
